Find your future with us.Boeing's Product and Services Safety Team (P&SS), Bombers & Fighters Division, is seeking an Experienced System Safety & Environmental Engineer (Level 3) to work on cutting edge military aviation development programs in St. Louis, MO. This position is responsible for the implementation and execution of multiple aspects of System Safety & Environmental Engineering statements of work across entire B&F portfolio and program life-cycles.This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.Position Responsibilities:
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to execute a MIL-STD-882 System Safety Program including environmental engineering tasks on complex system of systems and system solutions.
- Resolves cross-functional technical issues to minimize product-related system safety & environmental engineering risks.
- Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate:
- Hazardous material declarations
- System Safety & Environmental Engineering analyses and reporting
- Ensuring compatibility of various data system and associated interfaces.
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering or science.
- Environmental/Chemical engineering experience.
- Material & Process engineering experience.
- Data Analytics / Database engineering experience.
- Systems Safety engineering experience.
