Seeking Property Maintenance Technician

Realiant Property Management in Nicholasville and Lexington, KY is hiring a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)

Supervises and completes rental and property make ready turns.

Complete work orders in an efficient and timely manner.

Ensure reliable home functionality through preventative maintenance, repair and replacement of assets, equipment, and buildings

Deliver great resident and investor experiences by performing a variety of skills including plumbing, light electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, flooring installation (carpet and LVP)

Reasonable On-call rotation

Prepare apartments for new move-ins and complete the “make-ready” process of vacant units.

Properly maintain and use all materials, tools, vehicles and supplies.

Daily repair and upkeep of the property which can include basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.

Performs day-to-day repairs and effectively execute a preventative maintenance plan.

Assist in maintaining the exterior of the property to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal.

Perform administrative requirements, such as completing forms, reports, etc.

Maintains a positive customer relations attitude.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to demonstrate ability in the maintenance field

Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines

Troubleshooting and repair experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and/or residential appliances.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Successfully complete a pre-employment reference check, background check, and drug screen

Preferred: Trade School Certificate in related fields or College degree a plus
