Responsibilities:

The Charge Nurse is a member of the department Leadership Team responsible for the shift-to-shift staffing efficacy and coordination of patient care and throughput, participating with the department leadership team for achievement of key results in the areas of Quality, Service, Growth, People and Finance.

From heart attack to stroke - to gunshot wounds, motor vehicle accidents, or just fractured bones, our Emergency Departments sees it all. Our unit works in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care from admission to discharge, resulting in quality outcomes, patient safety and high patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current state of Missouri RN licensure required.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required.
  • BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
  • ACLS within 90 days of hire.
