Paralegal - Legal Assistant – Legal Secretary Albuquerque and Santa Fe Locations looking for multiple levels of Admin staff for temp to hire roles $17-$23 DOE
Will provide high level administrative support to attorney(s) located in office.
Will oversee various clerical tasks to include but not limited to the following: draft and prepare legal and technical correspondence, and maintain a case management/tracking system, maintaining appointment schedules (calendar), processing documents identified for legal review and approval (signature), organizing filing systems, prepare travel/training documents, making copies, sending emails, from time-to-time communicate with agency staff on behalf of legal staff. Must have strong MS Office Suite skills and strong Organizational skills
KNOWLEDGE
Law and Government - Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents,
government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.
English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including
the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word
processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing
customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality
standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles
involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership
technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related
documents.
Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to
understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at
inappropriate times.
Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of
alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
