JOB SUMMARYThe incumbent will build moderate to complex products and features that directly impact the consumer experience. The role will create innovative solutions by developing and implementing applications. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the consumer experienceDesign, implement, and deliver complex products for usersActively and independently acquire knowledge of new development technologies in areas such as mobile, video, second screen, social media and other niches Work closely with the development team to respond, clarify or define specific application behavior, look/feel and functionDiagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend and execute the best resolution Manage detailed application requirements and collaborate with project /development teams to ensure quality function, features and user experience Develop, modify, enhance and implement software systems designed to support new or existing business initiativesInfluence system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancementsTest software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirementsWrite code that meets the production requirements and design specificationsEnsure code is regression free, documented and unit testedParticipate in design and wireframe review to provide a technical perspective on implementationEnsure alignment between the business operational strategies and technical solutionsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and Knowledge • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies• Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively • Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities• Senior SAP ABAP Developer with strong understanding of Object Oriented ABAP and experience in working with S/4 HANA, CDS View, & OData Services Required • Good understanding of object oriented programming • Experience in working with S4 Hana, Gateway Services, OData, CDS views and BOPF • Strong full lifecycle ABAP custom development skills including BAPI/BADI/Enhancement Framework, workflows and Dialog programming Ability to take high level functional design documents and develop ABAP solutions independently • Strong communication skillsEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldRelated Work Experience 5 years of Application development experience 5 years of Monitoring and analysis tools experience 5+ years of Software development experience 2 years of Web services development experience using REST, JSON, XML 2 years of Version control systems experience (Git and Atlassian suite) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSRelated Work Experience • 5 years of Java Application development experience in a complex multi-application environment • Preferred Experience in delivering complex ABAP developments independently ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)• Demonstrate flexibility in working across different technical and functional domains• Work with technical team for design and analysis of solutions• Work with functional team members of the project to develop solutions as prioritized by the project team• Resolve system defects raised by the project team during testing phase • Precise and timely communication with the project team • Develop a good understanding of Application architecture and database designWORKING CONDITIONS Office environment ISW313 297310 297310BR
