Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a Content Strategy Lead who will report to the Senior Manager of Creative.As a leader within the Creative and Digital studioan integral part of Communications Management Services (CMS)you will drive web strategy, information architecture and content creation, producing user-friendly interactive experiences that are meaningful to Boeing audiences, both internal and external. You also will assist in the oversight of relevant suppliers, agencies and other strategic partners. As the ideal candidate, you are not only an expert UX writer/strategist, but also a consensus-building leader who can grow the reach and impact of the studio's content strategy discipline. The selected individual will be a self-driven team player with strong time management skills. The position can be based in any of the following locations: Tukwila, WA; Seattle, WA; Chicago, Illinois; Berkeley, Missouri; or Hazelwood, Missouri.Position Responsibilities:

  • Function as the digital content strategy subject matter expert (SME) within the studio and across CMS
  • Catalyze the creation of audience-first digital content on Boeing.com and constituent enterprise web properties; evangelize enterprise-wide the principles of human-centered content design
  • Employ data-based decision-making to research/plan, create/deliver and govern web strategies, tactics and content
  • Partner with communications colleagues and stakeholders to define and align on user personas, user journeys, core messaging and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with studio and CMS colleagues-i.e., project managers, creative leads, graphic designers, web developers, writers, campaign plannersto deliver holistic solutions that achieve measurable results
  • Author content-creation workflows that define deliverables, milestones, roles and responsibilities; act as the start-to-finish "strategic through-line" for each project
  • Bridge organizational boundaries; build trust with stakeholders; facilitate open communication/collaboration
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, transparency and inclusivity, a culture where each and all are valued and respected
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Associate's degree
  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing digital strategies
  • Experience with digital marketing principles including funnel optimization, SEM (search engine marketing) and SEO (search engine optimization)
  • 5+ years of experience in a role that required project management skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
  • Experience working with HTML5
  • Developed online portfolio that showcases your best work
Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
