Healthy Pet has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician II.

The QATechII oversees continuous process and procedures related to quality assurance and supports the QA Manager with overall quality verification program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains and completes daily paperwork for analysis testing.

Auditing and filing of daily quality paperwork.

Audits production quality checks during different production stages to ensure that testing is being performed properly.

Responsible for properly maintaining chemical storage and auditing the min/max levels of all lab chemicals and reporting need sets to QA Manager.

In the absence of the QA Manager or as needed will complete SAP Quality Entries and Releases

Performs internal audits at manufacturing facility. Addresses non-conformities.

Places identified non conforming product on hold with visible stickers and maintains entry of holds into the hold system

Reviews and improves standard operating procedures.

Maintains laboratory supplies and equipment for manufacturing facility locations.

Prepares edits and updates routine correspondence, reports and other documents.

Assists in the development and maintains current procedures and tasks explaining responsibilities.

Organizes, updates and maintains databases, files, records and other documents.

Organizes, updates, and maintains product retains and packing labels.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s or Associates degree in a related technical field.

Five years of successful quality lab experience in a manufacturing environment.

Apply sound judgment, analytical and problem-solving techniques to make reasoned, timely and consistent decisions.

Facilitate effective problem resolution. Develop ways to improve and promote efficient work methods.

Be attentive to detail, maintain a high degree of accuracy and organization, make basic mathematical calculations, check data and prepare and review material in reports and correspondence. Recognize, resolve and correct discrepancies in data or information.
