We are looking for an accounting and human resources clerk to support the Director of Finance and Director of Human Resources with the accounting and HR functions of the property.

Located at the base of Snow King Mountain, just a few blocks from downtown and 20 minutes from the Jackson Hole Airport, Snow King Resort Hotel boasts breathtaking views of the Teton Mountain Range and offers its guests a wide variety of activities and amenities. As Jackson’s largest venue, Snow King Resort Hotel offers over 20,000 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor function space. Featuring 203 guest rooms and 85 vacation rentals (classic or luxury condos).
Position Description & Job Responsibilities
Process invoices for payment by checking invoices to purchase orders and receiving records and ensuring that we have the appropriate approval.
Prepare documentation necessary to set up invoices for payment which includes but not limited to routing invoices to managers for proper coding & authorization prior to issuing payment.
Prepare expense checks and manual check requests on a timely basis, route for signatures as needed.
Maintain accounts payable vendor filing.
Ensure checks are issued with proper authorization. A minimal of one check run per week should be performed.
Ensure all vendors that apply late fees or penalties are added in to each weeks’ check run to prevent any unnecessary expense.
Reconcile vendor statements on a monthly basis.
Ensure we have a W9 on file for all new vendors prior to processing payment.
Review month end checklist to ensure all invoices have been received & posted prior to closing deadline. Review any outstanding invoices with Director of Finance as needed.
Process annual 1099’s by required deadline.
Resolve vendor inquiries.
Reconcile the daily cash deposits to system totals
Report cash variances and reconcile overage and shortages.
Maintain the listing of cashiers who are authorized as users in the Evention cash machine.
Insure there is correct denominations on hand in the Evention machine.
Update the daily cashier deposits into the daily accounting system journal entry.
Maintain position postings
New Hire system onboarding
State reporting of new hires
Employee birthday's and anniversaries announcements
Track compliance training
Payroll reporting
