We are engineers and technicians, skilled scientists and bold innovators; Join us and put your passion, determination, and skill to work building the future!We're seeking a Mid-Level Systems Analyst to join our team at our Hazelwood, Missouri site in the greater St. Louis area.This position is part of Advanced System Analysis, Design, & Optimization team in Hazelwood, MO. The focus of this team is to develop affordability analysis and operations modeling capabilities to support multiple defense, commercial and support services programs. The team is seeking a Systems Analyst with Affordability analysis experience who is excited to be part of a dynamic team developing optimal design/solution space systems model to better understand relationships between Life cycle Cost (LCC), Effectiveness, and Performance.As an affordability analysts you will apply your knowledge of analysis techniques including machine learning, data visualization, Model-based Engineering (MBE), modeling and integration, verbal and written communication skills, and enthusiasm to help achieve program business requirements, objectives and goals. You will exercise your experience and collaborate in multi-team environments that may include Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or other BR&T teams. This is an opportunity to utilize one's creative abilities to develop innovative process and tools applicable to multiple programs.Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively plan, design, develop and verify affordability trade studies for BGS, BDS, and BCA customers
  • Develop design trade-space models (i.e. cost-performance models) to better understand relationships among Life Cycle Cost (LCC), Effectiveness, and Performance using an assortment of analytic tools
  • Understand customer/operational needs to relate system performance requirements, technical parameters, and compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces
  • Perform analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture, including analyses such as LCC, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability and other specialties
  • Research and process historical data to develop Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs) and Design Estimating Relationships (DERs). Identify relationships between cost and non-cost drivers throughout the product life cycle
  • Work in a team environment to reconcile design concepts with cost estimates
  • Support cost effectiveness analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with affordability and/or cost modeling and analysis in one or more of the following areas: Non-recurring, Recurring, Operations and Support
  • Experience with trade study and/or systems analysis
  • Experience with programming languages, tools, and applications
  • Experience with data analytics and statistics
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Domain knowledge of Aircraft, Vertical Lift, Weapons, or Satellite programs
  • Experience with the product life cycle and operations and support concepts
