Find your future with us.The Boeing company has a new proprietary program in St. Louis that needs an expert Environmental System Design Engineer.Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design.
  • Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
  • Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
  • Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation. Trains others.
  • Works under general direction
Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. or higher in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Physics.
  • 8+ years' experience with hydraulic system and component design
  • 6+ years of military aircraft or commercial aircraft experience
  • Experience with NX/Teamcenter.
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills:
  • B.S. or higher in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Export Control: The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
