RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Saint Charles, MO that is seeking a Software .Net Developer.Summary:The Software .Net Developer is responsible for development, testing, debugging and high level support of assigned pieces an overall process control/tracking application for automation control systems branch of our business. Software applications developed are used in the manufacturing industry and include controls of Batching, Grinding, Pelleting, Receiving, Loadout, Inventory tracking, and other operations within industrial facilities. Responsibilities: In this role, the Software .Net Developer will develop and modify VB .Net programs and an SQL database of a high degree of complexity, involving process control, tracking, and interfacing to industrial process controls Assume responsibility for the development, performance, and bug fixing of complex industrial process control systems The Software .Net Developer will coordinate with other Software Developers as well as PLC programmers to integrate into larger applicationREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a technical background equivalent to a bachelor's degree Preferred, 2 to 4 years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience Practical understanding of computer programming Preferred knowledge of VB and the .NET library Knowledge of SQL database querying Knowledge of the practical application of Engineering, science, and technology Practical experience with communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience Demonstrated experience using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and Outlook Must give attention to detail and take pride in work producedTraining Requirements: VB.NET or any Windows based programming (C#, Python, Java, etc.) MS SQL and general database knowledge In-house and on-the-job training will be provided to certify technician as proficient in the design and use of existing code baseKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
