Description: 1) Provide individualized physical education instruction or services to children or youth with exceptional physical needs due to gross motor developmental delays or other impairments.
2) Adapt instructional techniques to the age and skill levels of students.
3) Modify teaching methods or materials to accommodate student needs.
4) Provide individual or small groups of students with adapted physical education instruction that meets desired physical needs or goals.
5) Write or modify individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with intellectual or physical disabilities.
6) Establish and maintain standards of behavior to create safe, orderly, and effective environments for learning.
7) Communicate behavioral observations and student progress reports to students, parents, teachers, or administrators.
8) Attend in-service training, workshops, or meetings to keep abreast of current practices or trends in adapted physical education.

Benefits: 1) Three (3) to five (5) years of classroom teaching experience preferred.
2) Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education preferred

2) Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education preferred
3) Adapted Physical Education endorsement preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registration
1) Valid Wyoming PTSB Teaching Certification with Physical Education K-12 or the ability to obtain one.
2) Valid Driver License
