We are looking for an HR Manager with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. You have a passion for hospitality, HR, and recruiting. You will have excellent administrative and tech skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

To ensure success, HR Managers should display strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management and payroll. Top candidates will be fantastic at managing conflict, effective at scheduling and thorough in the recruitment process. This role will report to the Vice President of Human Resources and be based in Jackson, WY.

HR Manager Responsibilities:

  • Recruit for hotel properties by identifying candidates, scheduling interviews with the hotel, performing reference checks, creating offer letters, running background checks, onboarding in system
  • J1 and H2B process
  • Conduct onboarding training at properties
  • Manage employee housing, create leases, communicate policies
  • Maintain digital copies of employees' records
  • Process Wyoming Workforce Development Grants
  • Run reports in Helpside including birthday and anniversary reports
  • Administration of appreciation programs
  • Communicating with properties on policies and procedures, making relevant updates
  • Assist with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices

HR Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of work experience in human resources or recruiting
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills
  • Exposure to hourly employees and payroll
  • Resiliency and flexibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to details
  • Social media experience, a plus
  • Spanish speaking, a plus
