Primary Location: Marshfield , Missouri Relocation Offered: No Employment Status: Travel: No Salary Range: $38,860-$48,580As our CAD Technician - Design, you will support the product line for ACGI by creating drawings to address complex installation and product issues via two-dimensional and three-dimensional design software (AutoCAD, Inventor), providing solutions to internal and external customers.What you'll be doing:

  • Creating design drawings and working within the shop drawing process
  • Working cooperatively with project managers, project coordinators and customers to accurately interpret architectural drawings and project scope-of-work information
  • Creating project drawing files - both paper and electronic - and maintaining electronic files
  • Supporting sales process drawing
  • Supporting change order process drawing
  • Supporting RFQ and RFI process drawing
  • Ordering package drawing creation and support
  • Creating custom solutions for specific projects, including new product development, as assigned
  • Preparing approval packages, as required
  • Supporting the RFQ process with operations management for vended products and other material solutions and needs
  • Participating in the submittal process
  • Participating in conference calls with sales, project management, project coordination, and customers
  • Supporting the sample process, as required
Requirements that will make you successful:
  • Associates degree or certificate in Computer-Aided Design, Architectural, Mechanical, Engineering or closely related field, OR 3+ years of closely related work experience, OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Well-developed computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and statistical analysis programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team player
  • Self-starter with a strong ability to multi-task and juggle multiple responsibilities
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with Inventor
  • Experience with AutoCAD 3D
