Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Entry Level Electrical System Design Engineer to join a proprietary program team located in Berkeley, MO This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.Boeing-St. Louis is seeking a highly motivated engineer to support the design, development, integration, and certification of the next-generation Vehicle Management System (VMS) for TACAIR Programs.The selected candidate will work on an exciting proprietary program that is growing rapidly. You will have the opportunity to be involved from the beginning of the design cycle and personally contribute to the development of a next-generation platform in the form of state of the art VMS development, performance testing, analysis and simulations. In addition, there will be visibility across the Boeing enterprise into modern VMS development methods.Position Responsibilities:Provide technical support to the VMS Integrated Product Team (IPT), which includes hardware, requirements, software, and labs teams.

Support VMS hardware and software development processes.

Performs testing and analysis in support of ensuring that the VMS architecture, hardware, and software meet requirements.

Supports coordination of VMS design, architecture, and logical interfaces with other IPTs.

Supports coordination of integrated test plans.

Supports efforts through analysis and testing to satisfy certification requirements.

Assists in providing oversight to supplier development, test, and integration activities.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry by June 2022

Ability to work both independently and with a cross-functional team

Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with design and analysis of basic Electronic/Electrical Systems

Experience in hardware and software integration

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
