We invite you to add to it.HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DOLehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Cement Terminal Associate based in Ball Ground, GA.Reporting to the Terminal Supervisor, the Terminal Associate is to safely and accurately unload, load and transfer bulk cement products using the plant HMI systems and assist with the maintenance of these systems. The Terminal Associate will be required to safely operate mobile equipment when handling materials and other aspects of the facility. Must be dependable, and safety conscious by promoting safety through all actions and tasks.This opportunity is perfect for the heavy industrial professional who is looking to grow their career with an industry leader!

Ability to accurately and legibly record figures, numbers and amounts such as volumes, and transfer to daily logs.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to read, interprets, and adheres to documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Must be able to write and communicate effectively.

Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, interpret an extensive variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and understand abstract and concrete variables.

The Terminal Associate is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk and hear.

The employee will frequently be required to walk on rocky, irregular surfaces that may be muddy and in reduced lighting conditions. The employee is occasionally required to sit.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.

The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, confined space, outside weather conditions, low lighting, and artificial lighting.

The employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, proximity to electrical equipment, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.

Other duties that are performed by the incumbent may be assigned as the work environment and essential functions of the job change.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.

Production experience in a cement plant or similar industrial environment.
