MALD Senior Electrical EngineerJob LocationsUS-GA-Warner RobinsID2020-3740CategoryEngineeringTypeRegular Full-Time OverviewCredence Management solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Miniature Air-Launched Decoy (MALD) program within the Armament Sustainment Division at Robins AFB, GA.The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Armament Sustainment Division is focused on both system acquisition and sustainment. Program requirements vary based on life-cycle phase. The Armament Sustainment Division supports United States Air Force (USAF) requirements and FMS requirements from over 44 countries.The MALD/MALD-J IPT manages, plans, organizes, directs, and controls the resources needed to sustain program objectives and is responsible for the systems Operational Safety, Suitability and Effectiveness (OSS&E), to include Reliability, Maintainability, and Supportability (RM&S). The MALD/MALD-J IPT is responsible for those processes required to support system life cycle logistics throughout the Operations and Support (O&S) phase. The MALD/MALD-J IPT ensures the execution of the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) meets operational support performance requirements by activelyreviewing, assessing, and managing product support arrangements to deliver sustained materiel readiness and continuous improvement of the Total Ownership Cost (TOC) associated with logistics products and services over the systems total life cycle. The MALD/MALD-J IPT manages weapon system elements that entail the Missile and its Sections, Operational Flight Software (OFS), Range Safety Systems (RSSs), Containers, and Support/Test Equipment.The Electrical Engineer shall perform electrical/electronic/computer engineering work involving the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes to the acquisition, development, and sustainment of weapon systems, subsystems, and/or support equipment.ResponsibilitiesPlan, organize, direct, and coordinate significant and complex projects involving such items as electronic circuits, circuit elements, firmware, software, embedded processors, networks, electric motors, machinery controls, power supplies, batteries, wiring, cabling, circuit protection, and associated phenomena concerned with electromagnetic or acoustical wave energy or electrical information for purposes such as communication, computation, sensing, control, measurement, and navigation.Performs duties involved in research, development, testing, evaluation, operation, maintenance, and/or directing the fabrication, manufacture, and installation of electronic devices or systems.This also includes cybersecurity duties to protect systems from unauthorized access to computer resources.This involves compliance with DoD 8570.01-M, and other applicable cybersecurity policies, including assuming Information System Security Manager (ISSM) duties and accomplishing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to obtain and maintain a system Approval to Operate (ATO) , Interim Approval to Test (IATT), and an Approval to Connect (ATC).QualificationsMinimum of a Secret security clearance is required.One of the following Education/Experience criteria must be met:Master's degree in any discipline with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from an ABET-accredited university and fifteen (15) years of For full info follow application link.Credence Management Solutions, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
