COATER OPERATOR LEADMAN

Coater LeadmanAs a lead man, the candidate must be able to make sound decisions in assisting operations management in the daily coordination of plant activities and operations. This position is heavily relied upon regarding the safety of employees, visitors to the plant and to themselves. Enforces all Company and regulatory policies, rules and regulations. May conduct site-specific training for employees, vendors or other persons at the facility. Assists in trouble shooting production issues as well as creating purchase orders for fixed maintenance and capitol projects. May project/breakdown inspection and repair estimates. Communicates with employees regarding work assignments and correcting problems. May work in a variety of assignments with experience.In addition, the candidate will engage in the same type of work as the workers being directed or coordinated, which includes: repairs and maintains production equipment plants in accordance with operation manuals and manufacturer's specifications. Qualifications:Candidates will be required and expected to :Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sound to locate causes of trouble.Dismantles device to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.Starts devices to test their performance.Advise the Maintenance Manager of any operational problems.Complies with all environmental, health, safety & training policies, procedures, and requirements.Maintain all areas of responsibility safely and within high standards of cleanliness.
