POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe Monitor Technician will be responsible for performing direct observation of biomedical electronic devise displays, reads, and mounts rhythm strips, and reporting periodic or remarkable value changes as required. Provides indirect patient care to adolescent through adult patient population. Ensure the best possible outcomes to patients through critical thinking and attention to detail.POSITION REQUIREMENTSSuccessful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course. Successfully complete a competency exam on identification of arrhythmias with a score of 85% or greater. Must possess and maintain current knowledge of pacemakers, ICDs, and related issues as identified.
