Graphic Designer / Sign Maker / Production

SIGN INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED.

Great opportunity! Looking for the RIGHT person to join our team. We need a graphic designer / sign maker to fill an immediate opening. Must be a motivated, dynamic, and creative individual. Ideal candidate must be well organized and have strong people skills. Must also possess keen listening skills with the ability to take our clients thoughts / words and turn them into output that will exceed our clients’ expectations. Willing and eager to learn parts of the business with which you are unfamiliar.

Minimum Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a professional sign marker – design and production.

A strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Design creativity.

Attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task.

Ability to work well under deadlines.

Experience operating large format printers / plotters (Mimaki, Epson, Graphtec, Summa)

Familiar with RIP software (Onyx a plus).

Minimum Duties:

Sign design and production

Digital artwork creation and manipulation.

Answer Phones

Interact professionally with customers.

Accurate record keeping related to jobs, electronic and paper.

Management of multiple simultaneous projects.

Maintain clean and organized production area.

Maintain printer and plotter.

Additional Preferred Qualification:

Vinyl application.

Vehicle wrap design experience.

Knowledgeable in color management.
