Rhode Island Periodontics is looking for a full time surgical assistant to join our growing team.

We have one staff working out of two locations, Johnston and providence, which makes for an interesting work week. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with a lunch break from 1 to 2. We offer a competitive benefit package with salary based upon experience. Gingival Grafts

Osseous Surgery – with and without Laser

Must have requirements and skills::

Strong work ethic, superb customer service skills, total team work mentality and desire to learn new skills. Must be able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment with multiple doctors. X-ray certification as well as OSHSA and HIPPA compliance a MUST

Job description and duties:

Open operatories

Set up surgical procedures

Assist doctors with procedures

Process instruments and clean rooms

Restock rooms at end of day

Take photo’s, remove suture’s, take impressions

Willing to help hygienist and front desk when needed

Equipment and software (experience helpful but not required):

Dentrix

Dexis x-ray

Prexion CBCT scan

Millennium Laser
