If so, the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) team is growing and we’re looking for talented, experienced professionals with a passion for helping our Public Sector customers.The WW Public Sector industry team engages with our government customers of all sizes to support their missions and help them empower citizens and societies. We do this both directly and through our extensive and rapidly expanding business partner ecosystem. We are looking for a Partner Development Leader that will help develop this ecosystem by identifying new market opportunities, and expanding existing capabilities that will grow the use of Microsoft Cloud technologies through a repeatable, scalable set of solutions that meet the needs of government customers. You will identify emerging market requirements, recruit, and expand partners that develop solutions. You will support and inform the internal global community, as well as develop internal stakeholder relationships. Your success in these areas will establish Microsoft as an innovation leader in the Public Sector industry.You will be part of a high-performance team of peers with similar responsibilities in other mission and business transformation areas of Public Sector. Your scope is worldwide, and your opportunity and expectation will be to both scale solutions globally whilst tailoring market offerings to regional customers, all with the objective of driving growth.Responsibilities

Leverage your Public Sector experience to develop a deep understanding of the trends and top priorities for Public Sector customers at national, international, and state/local levels

Work extensively with Microsoft Partners to identify compelling solutions that can be replicated and brought to market with Public Sector customers worldwide.

Identify new potential Microsoft Partners that are undergoing their own digital transformation on to cloud

Identify new potential Microsoft Partners and / or startups that provide innovative or new groundbreaking, scalable technology solutions to Public Sector Customers

Lead and or contribute to the delivery of workshops and training necessary to inform local regions of the latest emerging trends and solution offerings

Work with local regions to analyze key emerging trends, identify patterns and opportunities to replicate solutions on a global scale

Build relationships at all levels and divisions internally within Microsoft that enables you to bring the best of One Microsoft together for our partners and customers

Craft and deliver Executive Briefings and C-Suite presentations on Cloud and Digital Transformation in Public Sector

Measure progress with annual targets for growth, wins, and technology adoption

Develop and support strategic partnerships with industry leaders

Represent Microsoft through industry engagements, exercises, and conference presentations to communicate innovation and demonstrations to the widest audiences possible.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of success in developing strategic partnerships and business development

Proven track record of building deep relationships with senior leaders and partners, growing cloud consumption share in large or highly strategic accounts.

Exceptional presentation skills and storytelling capability to deliver presentations to large audiences.

Demonstrable experience collaborating and influencing across stakeholder groups and the ability to work successfully across a complex, highly matrixed environment.

Excellent skills in all aspects of planning, communications, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail.

Passion and proven record for execution with measurable results.

Outstanding interpersonal skills, innovation, and the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead cross group/functional teams with a high degree of independence and success.

Ability to deal with ambiguity, navigate uncertain situations, and drive for clarity.

Demonstrated strong capability in verbal and written communications skills across a geographically dispersed audience.

Ability to build strong partnerships across organizational lines.
