Auto Technician (charlottesville)

AutoTeknika seeks qualified technician to work on German and select import cars, mostly BMW, Mercedes, VW, Audi, Porsche, but Also Jag, Rover.

Qualifying applicants should: 1) Have own tools, 2) Be computer literate and familiar with proprietary scanning equipment 3) Work well with others. 4) Be able to pass a background test.

We prefer applicants who are state inspectors and don't live so far away that transportation could be a problem.

UTI graduates or graduates from J. Sargeant Reynolds automotive technology program would be desirable and recent graduates from either who still require on the job training will be considered.

We are a well equipped shop with a comfortable work environment, including an air conditioned workshop in downtown Charlottesville. We have a wide range of diagnostics and special tools along with a pretty good machine shop.
