Established, local general contractor is seeking a Construction Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent, employment opportunity for a results-focused individual.
The ideal candidate possesses strong presentation skills, is knowledgeable in all facets of
civil construction (special emphasis on road, bridge, water, sewer, concrete, marine and pile driving work)
Job Description will include: Assisting with estimating and bidding of jobs, managing submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, Scheduling, Contract Documents and Purchasing of materials. In short, assisting in the management of projects from start to finish.
Minimum Requirements:
Construction and Engineering related college degree preferred but not required
Minimum 5 years of industry experience in construction preferred
Experience in estimating, contract paperwork, scheduling and managing all aspects of projects from start to finish
Proficient computer skills (MS Outlook, Project, Excel, Word) are a must
Our firm is small (under 20 employees), but has been successfully operating for nearly 30 years. We focus primarily on government projects ranging in size from 50k to 3M. Types of projects range from site development to remote bridge installations, marine work, water towers, reservoirs, remote access projects and numerous other unique projects (we have moved away from the commercial building side of construction though).
