RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Ballwin, MO that is seeking an Agile Coach.Summary:In this role, the Agile Coach will coach, mentor and guide our teams to streamline Team Agility and help scale up the agility at portfolio and IT level. They will analyze the organization's existing process framework and implement improvements to help achieve efficiencies. The Agile Coach will work in partnership with the Information Technology, and various other internal teams along with the system integrator/implementer which will require you to quickly build trust, rapport, and credibility with each team to assure alignment throughout the project/product lifecycle. Ultimately, the Agile Coach will play a key role in the long-term strategy across the entire organization, helping our teams to deliver better products in a faster, more efficient manner.Responsibilities: Work with project teams to analyze current systems and processes and design a strategy for the adoption of agile best practices Coach, mentor, and evangelize agile best practices across the organization Guide teams to help them stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is being met Lead agile workshops for both development and functional teams, as well as key stakeholders Drive cultural change by championing an agile mindset and ensure the organization is at the forefront of industry best practices Act as a scrum master for 1-2 agile teams Facilitate iteration planning, lead work within individual sprints, and coordinate retrospectives and demos Assist product owners with backlog creation and grooming Maintain and publish agile metrics (e.g. velocity and burn-down) leveraging Jira Assist in setting up PPM strategy and tooling Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise to evangelize and socialize the agile methodologyREQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach Experience in Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe) Can showcase examples of implementing agile techniques in different cultures and environments Experience running agile initiatives of varying size and complexity Demonstrated experience and knowledge with a solid understanding of project management fundamentals (time/scope/cost) Ability to apply agile concepts and methodology to tailor to company culture Excellent understanding of agile metrics (e.g. how to build a burn-down, track velocity, backlog tracking, and task definition) Demonstrated ability to plan program increments, releases and ensure cross-teams collaboration Strong leader, educator, and coach Proven ability as a servant leader with excellent communication (verbal and written) and social skills Exceptional facilitative skills, must be able to lead and demonstrate value add principles with transparency (e.g. desire to bring disclosure and grow trust) Proven ability to be situational aware with an understanding when to listen and when to be assertive and must be able to resolve conflict with professionalism and a win-win attitude Proven ability to lead teams to self-organization and working independently with limited supervisionKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
