Bilingual Paralegal/Legal Assistant needed ASAP

Bilingual (Spanish/English) legal assistant/paralegal needed immediately for Personal Injury/Workers' Compensation office in North Charlotte, NC. Applicant should have at least one year legal experience, knowledge of a customer database such as Time Matters or Needles, and strong typing skills (50 wpm preferred). Candidates for this position must work well independently, have well-developed organizational skills and a strong commitment to helping people. Responsibilities will include answering phones, opening files, working closely with the attorneys, clients and medical providers to obtain needed information and keep them updated on all phases of the case, inputting information into the customer database, maintain calendar, and gather, analyze and research information. Hours are 8:30 - 5:30. Salary will be based upon experience. We offer a insurance and long term disability, and a strong PTO/vacation package. Paralegal degree is NOT required.
