Manage the daily operations of the Intake team, monitoring for needed staffing adjustments to meet the prescribed metrics.

Train new Intake Coordinators. Train team on new processes and specialty program processes.

Serve as a resource to Intake staff for home health care policy, payor sources, and specialty program information.

Work with the Intake Director to identify appropriate referrals related to Medicare eligibility

Assist the Intake Director with the merger of new regions into the Central Intake process.

Work with the locations to assure the Process Pending Referral calls are meeting the needs of the ED/DPCS staff.

Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including, but not limited to the Compliance Program: Code of Conduct, HIPAA and Documentation Standards.

Maintains a commitment to the values and mission of AccentCare.

Additional responsibilities as assigned by one’s supervisor or other manager related to the position/department.

Requirements of Qualified Candidates:

3 – 5 years of experience

High school diploma or GED

Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations.

Have basic project/process management and computer/technical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment with competing priorities

Willingness to take on new projects and initiatives

Able to apply intermediate problem solving and task analysis skills

Proficient in interacting with and creating a collaborative working environment amongst and stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Possess a responsible, detail-oriented, results-driven work ethic

Must be able to collaborate at all levels internally.

External collaboration includes exchanging detailed information or resolve varied problems.
