Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Programming, Supply Chain Management, or Business required. Master’s degree preferred.

Work Experiences:

7+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, distribution, or warehouse operations

5+ years of supervisory experience

5+ Profit & Loss (P& L) experience preferred

Skills:

Deep demonstrated experience with logistics strategy, distribution network strategy, and distribution operations improvement

Advance Project Management skills

Advance Logistics Systems (ERP, TMS, WMS, YMS) experience

Advanced computer skills: proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access

Strong verbal & written communication skills with the ability to communicate detailed analytical information in an appropriate manner through all levels of the organization

Strong organizational skills that drive prioritizing and multi-tasking to meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

Manages day-to-day operations of transportation managers, including remote locations, and the omni-channel manager,

Collaborate with store operations team and leadership to improve service to the stores while increasing efficiencies and reducing costs

Collaborate with omni-channel operations team to identify and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience

Build and maintain strategic relationships with key third-party providers to enhance the customer experience, improve efficiencies and reduce costs

Accountable for interaction with the stores on an ongoing basis regarding performance and continuous improvement

Drives logistics strategy using data analytics, working closely with the Supply Chain Business Intelligence team

Evaluates and creates an effective balance on service levels and cost to serve in logistics – ensuring margin and desired service levels are maintained

Utilizes specific knowledge of the logistics market, trends, and capabilities to identify areas for cost reductions and saving opportunities

Manages alignment with cross-functional teams within logistics, business technology, and other business unit leaders, and their respective strategies to ensure greater leverage of system efficiencies via the TMS

Maximizes third party fleet efficiencies through proper planning and execution

First level budget preparation and P&L reporting

Facilitate, manage and support all internal reporting requirements

Ensure TMS is capturing activity and rating to ensure data integrity

Collaboratively work with inbound logistics team to ensure focus on improving backhaul

Review freight data & develop outbound freight analysis reports

Analysis of transportation spend to include root cause and corrective actions for inefficiencies analyze and adjust routes to ensure proper coverage for existing/new stores and seasonal demand

Maintain on-time deliveries and lead communication efforts to identify and address transportation and service issues

Collaborate with reverse logistics department and store operations to evolve store returns program

Responsibilities may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned
