Description Job Description:The Biobehavioral Research Division within the Military and Veterans Health Services Operation at Leidos has a need for a Research Administrator.The individual selected for this position will perform a variety of support duties for the Naval Health Research Center Headquarters, San Diego, CA. They will be located at Naval Medical Forces Pacific (NMFP). Specifically, the successful candidate will provide support services in the areas of review and tracking of technical, and scientific authored works for publication in peer-reviewed journals and for distribution or presentation of technical reports and conference materials. This candidate will also provide support services in the areas of review and tracking of Naval Health Research Center’s non-reimbursable agreements and technology transfers. They will be expected to support collaboration among the other Navy Enterprise labs this will include but is not limited to the collection and implementation of quarterly metrics, the strategic plan, and the publication guide.Primary Responsibilities:a. Provide customer support between Naval Health Research Center and Naval Medical Forces Pacificb. Recommend changes for process improvementc. Maintain publication guidelines, products lists, and technology transfer regulationsd. Adhere to the command authored works review and agreements approval processBasic Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree; and 1- 2 years of experience preparing and reviewing both technical, and scientific documents; knowledge of Naval Correspondence; and working knowledge of Navy medical R&D activities and the government and military in general.

The candidate must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite version 7

Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks at once

Be able to complete assignments quickly without sacrificing accuracy; attention to detail; self-starter and motivated; and adept at working in a highly customer-oriented and professional environment.

This position is full time and is located on site at the Naval Medical Forces Pacific (NMFP) in San Diego, CA, with work hours to coincide with the standard command business hours of 0700-1630.

Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain Secret Clearance
