Distribution Logistics (DSTL) is a local leader in transportation and logistics and we are growing AGAIN! We currently have multiple opportunities for individuals that enjoy driving to join our fleet of professional van drivers. We are currently hiring drivers to drive company cargo vans out of Rockville, MD and deliver small packages for a large internet retailer. This is a high energy and fast paced delivery position averaging 175-225 deliveries per route each day within planned time.

Shifts start at 7:00am daily and generally run for 10 hours.

This position requires open availability each week- MUST be available to work both SATURDAY & SUNDAY (You will not be scheduled both weekend days, but must be available to work both according to business need)

Due to current guidelines, space is limited in each of the interview sessions. Once capacity is reached, no additional persons will be allowed entrance and will be asked to return for the next session. What does a Delivery Driver Associate do?

Drives a delivery van to drop off Amazon packages to customers within local communities

Commonly works 4-5 days a week

Typical working days average 10 hours

Follows strict safety standards on and off the road

Interacts with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner

Uses handheld technology to manage the delivery process

What are the basic requirements?

Must be at least 23 years of age and have a valid standard drivers license

Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van

Must be able to move parcels up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to easily get in and out of the van

Must consent to a drug screening and background check.

Must have a very safe driving record (No DUI/DWI/Reckless/Suspensions)

Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers

Must read, write, and speak English
