Selected individual for the job will be part of Global Alternative Systems Center of Excellence and undertake the development of alternative systems utilizing the-state-of-the-art technology with natural and low GWP refrigerants to provide creative and innovative solutions for the Supermarket.We are proud to have instilled a shared sense of responsibility and commitment among our approximately 10,000 employees located throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.Job DescriptionUnder general supervision, brazes together components using torch or brazing machine and flux.Guides torch and rod along joint of work pieces to heat to brazing temperature, melt braze alloy, and bond work pieces together. Sets up equipment, selects torch tip, flux, and brazing alloy from data charts or work order. Performs a variety of assembly, fabrication, production, and operator tasks.QualificationsRequires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 1 year related experience with CU/AL or AL/AL joints.Understands data charts, specification diagrams, and work orders. Able to determine required equipment and settings. Requires precision control and dexterity. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. Passed training modules 1-1, 1-2, 2, and 3-1. Able to braze at approximately 1000 DPMO leak rate.
