Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Integration & Test Engineer for their Satellite Division located in Kent, WAThis exciting software engineer position will work on existing and emerging programs. A successful candidate is passionate about space and excited to work in a multi-disciplined, collaborative engineering environment to integrate and test software for a new fleet of Boeing satellites.Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
  • Integrates software components into a fully functional software system
  • Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met
  • Develops, selects, tailors and deploys software processes, tools and metrics
  • Works under general direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree.
  • 5+ years' experience developing embedded software architectures and C/C code development, integration, and test.
  • 5+ years' direct experience designing and developing software for a real time or non-real-time system.
  • 10+ years' experience with software testing at different levels, including component, configuration item, subsystem, integration/system, and acceptance testing.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Hands-on experience with Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, TCL, XML.
  • Experience with avionics control algorithms, search algorithms and math libraries, telemetry and command handling.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces, embedded processor architectures, I/O device drivers and board support packages.
Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience).
