(W2 only / No Cop to Corp)Position: Software Developer - Java DevelopmentDuration: 11+ month w2 contractLocation: REMOTE until post COVID (Must sit in Atlanta)TOP SKILLS:-4+ years experience developing web applications in Java OR C# in an agile environment: building multi-threaded applications from scratch and doing object oriented design-Experience doing deployments with a CI/CD pipeline or having any hand in the deployment efforts-Experience with modern technology concepts like microservices, containers, deploying to the cloud, groovy, gradle, maven, spring, Junit testing,-Experience with ENTIRE SDLC, doing projects from start to finish (design all the way to delivery and maintenance)- Must have 2 years experience with a distributed version control system (Git, Bitbucket)-AWS experience is a plusOur client that is an e-commerce textile company. Their warehouse there are 100,000 of SKUs and new SKUs are made every day based on custom orders, so the amount of data processed is very large.The first step in this technology investment is a complete refresh of their ecommerce customer facing website. The last time that it was refreshed was 2005. Some of the website isn't up to date and responsive, and they also want to optimize the buying process for customers. By next year they need the website to be on a CMS so the business can update their own parts of the website. Also, there is a blog that is powered by exisiting site that holds a lot of the creative content: new collections, look books, textile projects, etc.The new website will integrate this creative content to the ecommerce website so the customer can get inspiration as well as buy the product.About TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
