The hospitality group behind some of Long Island's most respected Asian dining concepts, including Kashi, JBBQ & Shabu Shabu, Cajun Claws, and Meet Bar & Izakaya, is seeking dynamic hospitality professionals for our EIGHTH LOCATION, opening in Mid-June 2022!

This location will be our second MEET BAR & IZAKAYA, as our existing location in Rockville Centre has been a hot spot for Japanese Small Plates, Yakitori Skewers, Ramen, Craft Cocktails, Artisan Sake, and Japanese Whisky since 2018.

Qualifications:

-(for Bartenders) 3+ Years as a full service bartender with experience in handling 20 bar guests, a busy service bar printer, and 4 or more high top tables simultaneously. Craft cocktail knowledge is a MUST, so this position is not for bartenders used to only pouring shots and opening beer bottles.

-(for Servers) 3+ Years as a server in a fast paced RESTAURANT, the ability to handle up to SIX tables at once, and the ability to learn a menu and speak fluently on its offerings.

-(for Host/ess) 1+ Years in a dining environment or busy customer service location.

-(for Bussers/Runners) 1+ Years in a fast paced restaurant environment.

-(for Managers) At least 3+ Years experience as a manager in a sit-down (not fast food or diner) restaurant, and at least 7+ years experience in the hospitality industry in general. The abilities to handle scheduling, delegation, ordering, and superlative guest service, all while leading by example, are a major skill set to have.

-All candidates regardless of position must have the availability to work EVERY FRIDAY, SATURDAY, AND SUNDAY; Full time candidates will be given additional shifts on other days throughout the week.

-All Candidates who are hired must be available for the following schedule:

JUNE 20-22 Training, JUNE 23-25 Grand Opening Days
