Childcare Teachers(Part-Time/Full-Time) (Rincon/Pt. Wentworth/Springfield)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Child Care Lead Teacher for the infant classroom/Toddler Classroom. Encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facilities. You will supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination. Must have a passion for children of all ages. Must have a CDA or credentials in Early Childhood.

Responsibilities and Duties

Create lesson plans age appropriate. Give directions to program assistant as needed. Maintain proper documentation as needed. Must be able to use an iPad. Additional duties as assigned.

Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule and willing to work with all ages.

This position is primarily in the infant classroom.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have strong communication and time management skills. Certificate in first aid and CPR will be required. Degree in early childhood education or CDA is a plus. Must have experience working with children in a childcare setting from infants-4 years old. Training courses in childcare will be mandatory.
