Description:The Precision Fires Program Team is looking for a motivated business management professional to support the Business Operations Sr. Manager. The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment with other Finance and Business functions, Engineering, Program Management, Production Operations, and other functions to coordinate and execute strategic goals. The candidate will primarily manage the future critical proposal development activities, implementing strategic program financial plans for Orders, Sales, Profit, and Cash (OSP&C), and cost competitive goals. The successful candidate will be expected to clearly communicate and deliver sound information/analysis to all levels of leadership as it relates to these areas of responsibility.The candidate’s daily responsibilities are variable based on the current business priorities. These priorities may include new business and driving proposal strategy including price/cost. The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating with the Business Operations Sr. Manager and working in a multi-functional organization to support Orders, Sales, Profit, and Cash as it relates to the both the current monthly/quarterly/annual financial outlook and long-term financial plans, which supports all levels of program leadership and drives results to achieve strategic financial goals. Additionally, the candidate will also be expected to partner with multi-functional teams to help drive strategy that helps the business achieve it’s goals.The candidate will be able to conduct in-depth analysis for both current programs and future awards. This analysis will be used to provide leadership with critical information for decision making with regards to key risks, challenges, opportunities, and financial strategies. The candidate will be able to understand the vision of the business area and utilize their analytical skills to help leadership accomplish the strategic goals.The candidate will have a broad financial acumen and working knowledge of various business functions including Finance, Planning, Contracts, and Pricing.The candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with various functional leadership to provide feedback, tasking, recommendations and implement accountability to achieve team goals. These tasks often result in preparing and presenting the outcome in a strategic manner to all levels of leadership. Additionally, due to the high visibility and nature of the role, the candidate will be expected to partner with various internal and external customers including all business functions, Program Management, Proposal Management, Engineering Management, and the various customers.Relocation: Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position.The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a great place to live and to raise a family. The region is home to numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North Texas, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree- Experienced user of Microsoft (MS) Office products- Demonstrated business case experience- Experience with Finance and Business Operations FunctionsDesired Skills:- Thirteen (13) or more years of related experience-Strategic thinker with experience in proposals and program execution- Relevant experience in multiple business functions (Estimating, Planning, Program Finance, Contracts, Financial Reporting), and experience interacting across functions and with multiple internal/external customers.- Strong Executive Level Presentation Skills- Aerospace and/or defense industry experience- Experience with Orders, Sales, Profit, and Cash (OSP&C)BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
