This is not a remote position.The address is 201 Walls Drive, Cleburne, TX 76031Salary range is Min $22.81 – Max $34.43 – based on relevant experienceWork SchedulePart Time 24 hours per weekMonday-Friday variable day scheduleJob DescriptionProvides quality, safe patient care and exceptional customer service.Contributes to creating and maintaining a collaborative work environment.Champions actions to reduce/eliminate patient risks.Incorporates customer needs and expectations into daily operations.Collaborates with all customer groups (staff, physicians, patients, family, external customers) to determine customer expectations. Completes daily analysis of medical records for trauma patients and determines eligibility for registry reporting.Maintains registry, orderly records of data to be coded and abstracts.Completes daily obligations addressing case discovery, patient rounds and performance improvement process.Communicates current regulatory requirements and monitors compliance.Performs queries for reports from the trauma registry database.Analyzes data to fulfill administrative and medical staff requests.Downloads essential data to the Texas Department of Health Bureau of Epidemiology on a monthly basis and National Trauma Data Bank annual download.Collects patient care data, identifies and reports significant findings to Trauma Program Manager/Coordinator and Trauma Medical Director. Monitors trauma patient records for quality improvement indicators.Provides quality, patient-centered care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient and equitable. Establishes collegial relationships with physicians.Supports and maintains effective communication among physicians, staff and other departments. Consistently promotes a professional image of in demeanor, appearance, attitude and behaviors. Integrates team building strategies and principles of group process in interactions.Provides safe patient care at affordable costs delivered by compassionate caregivers.Identifies ineffective and costly processes and takes action to improve those processes.Remains flexible with scheduling to help meet departmental/patient needs.Assumes responsibility for and participates in projects as needed.Helps to coordinate care across a broader continuum of patient care including injury prevention, pre-hospital, acute, emergent, and rehabilitation. Integrates the ACS guidelines for trauma patient care into the continuum of patient care. Coordinates efforts in the progressive growth of trauma system. Contributes to unit-based programs.
