ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with Advisory client & engagement acceptance concurrent monitoring activities; specifically, contract compliance, and other items, as identified Support the Advisory Services Quality Review Program (“ASQRP”), including assisting with program planning, engagement reviews, and scheduling of closing calls etc. Support the Engage PMO with user acceptance testing and other items, as identified Assist with scheduling and agenda development, and participate in regular Advisory Quality & Risk meetings and meetings held with internal functions (i.e., RRLA, ABL Operations personnel, and Professional Standards Directors (PSDs) Assist with the development of training to advisory practitioners related to quality & risk matters Assist with bi-monthly ABL Leadership reporting Support ASQ team with ad hoc advisory quality & risk matters Identify opportunities and make recommendations for process improvements Maintain a positive working relationship and work effectively with other groups across the firm (e.g., RRLA, Independence, etc.) Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Two (2) to five (5) years of related work experience with a professional services firm, or as part of a risk management or compliance function Must possess a strong understanding of the importance of quality and risk management in the context of a professional services organization Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills Ability to work independently with moderate supervision Communicate well with all levels of professional team; able to foster a team environment Ability to anticipate potential obstacles, take proactive steps to avoid them and complete projects accurately and timely Provide highest quality work product; demonstrate detail oriented focus Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) Ability to work additional hours as needed and occasionally travel to other office locations Knowledge of independence-related rules and policies a plus Microsoft Teams skills a plus Basic working knowledge of the Engage tool a plusAbout UsAt Grant Thornton, we believe in making business more personal and building trust into every result – for our clients and you.
