The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.Salary Range$49,800.00 - $82,200.00Target Openings1What Is the Opportunity?This position is responsible for providing Project administration support as defined by the Director, Bond Operations and Management Team. The Project Administrator works with supervision and guidance and is responsible for applying basic skills, tools and techniques to Project deliverables, processes, and systems in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations. The Project Administrator operates within defined parameters using a proven Project Management Methodology. The Project Administrator is primarily tasked on a national basis with managing the surety obligations, forms, user templates, underwriting applications, and provides other miscellaneous administrative/operational support to local and territorial offices.Travelers offers a hybrid work location model that is designed to support flexibility.Primary Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the research of key elements of surety bond language.

Works with governmental entities and private parties to acquire and maintain current versions of forms for internal and external use.

Manage the creation of surety forms, bond templates and rate charts housed in the underwriting systems, Travelers Click, the Bond Express website, and the Bond Forms Library.

Serve as a subject matter expert for Bond and Specialty Insurance.

Collaborates with Legal for interpretation on statutes and acquires approval on approach to bond provisions.

Ensure accuracy in all phases of the process including typing, converting to PDF, bookmarking and publishing.

Conduct annual independent analysis of Obligee forms to identify new or updated forms, obligations, and/or provision changes. Review conducted through research of Obligee websites, industry association (SFAA) publications, and review of statutory changes.

Maintain system functionality for Click eligibility, Click question sets, Electronic Surety Bond requirements, and Rate Chart information.

Ensure operational Best Practices are documented for forms management are current and stored on the Bond Express shared drive.

Keep management and team members informed of issues which may impact Agency or Underwriting relations.

Mentor and establish a redundant backup for the forms and template workflow.

Assist Leadership team with the various administrative duties/responsibilities needed to support the Business.

Provide highest level of service to internal and external customers.

Provide backup Administration support in managing the system Communication Queue. Set up all requests utilizing the account matching services and route to the responsible underwriter.

During peak periods, provide processing support to the Underwriting teams.

Manage your own workload and recognize opportunities to assist other team members with their workload and problem solving.

Identifies opportunities to streamline team workflow.

Assist with the implementation and development of targeted marketing initiatives.

Monitors and reports on Programs, Projects or Project Tasks.

May support vendor management processes.

Monitors Project tasks and Projects against time and budget plans.

Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required.

Education, Work Experience, & KnowledgeBachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Prior related internship or work experience preferred.

Experience tracking projects, creating schedules, and utilizing project management software preferred.
