Description If you have a passion for Human Resources and you're looking for an exciting, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, updating the employee handbook, and managing employee relations.What you get to do every single dayDifferentiate local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures

Collaborate with employees, upper management, and third-party vendors

Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters

Responsible for operations tasks for the HR department

Draft templates for various HR documents, including the Employee Handbook

Evaluate employee performance, including appraising pay scales, assisting with annual reviews, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)

Create & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections

Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite

Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews

Manage employee relations, including coordinating sensitive conversations and engaging employee

Collaborate with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees

Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations Requirements - Prior experience implementing and coordinating Open Enrollment is a plus

Experience with full cycle recruiting

Strong knowledge of local, state and federal laws

Are you highly professional? Are you able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity?

Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects

Excellent written and verbal business skills

Prior experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Prior HR experience in a Generalist capacity

Proficient with office computer applications and software, as well as social media platforms

B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis
