Night Shift Diesel PM Service Technician (Bealeton, VA)

JOB DESCRIPTION

DPF Restoration & Diagnostic Services is an established and growing diesel particulate filter cleaning and diesel engine diagnostic and repair company working in the entire Metropolitan D.C. area. We are currently looking to expand our team and are in need of two (2) NIGHT SHIFT Diesel PM Service Technicians.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Comply with all safety standards, including safety measures put in place as a result of Covid-19.

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when and where required.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including maintaining an organized and clean service truck.

Perform preventative maintenance on diesel fleet concrete trucks including but not limited to: perform inspections and document findings, perform oil and other fluid changes, perform variety of filter changes and grease equipment as instructed.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Heavy equipment maintenance experience.

Drivers License a must.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to operate an IPad tablet and document effectively.

Ability to work as a team player and effectively communicate with co-workers and management.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

PM Service Tech Schedule is Monday - Thursday NIGHT shift.

PM services are completed outside, on-site at our client’s various locations and are often dependent on weather. When heavy rain, sleet, or snow is present, the job will change and instead of completing PM Services you may be asked to step-in on various jobs happening at our central shop.

Tools needed to complete the PM Services are provided on the service truck, therefore no personal tools are needed for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 /hour
