ResponsibilitiesSummary: · Our consultants on the Advanced Analytics & Intelligent Automation team help clients maximize the value of their data and automate business processes. This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data engineering and querying to data visualization and dashboarding, to predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence as well as robotic process automation (RPA). Our services enable our clients to define their information strategy, enable mission critical insights and data-driven decision making, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust, and improve operational effectiveness. Our consultants focus on client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development. Job Description/Responsibilities: · Belong to a collaborative team dedicated to Advanced Analytics and Intelligent Automation. · Directly support National Security clients as a Senior Data Analyst, working independently or leading a team and mentoring junior staff, while driving analytic initiatives forward. · Analyze management, business, and technical/data issues related to information systems to support data quality, data management, and data analytics for the client’s mission. · Work with cross-functional teams. · Support business development and internal team initiatives. · Continue career development in data analytics/science software, methods, and consulting. QualificationsRequired: · U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. · B.S. or B.A. in a relevant quantitative and computational discipline. · 10+ years of relevant experience OR 6+ years of relevant experience and a M.S. or M.A in a relevant discipline. · Ability to understand business objectives, define requirements, develop action plans, and execute. · Ability to efficiently perform analytics on “big data”. · Ability to identify and assess data management and data quality issues using analytics and make recommendations that support mission needs/strategy. · Ability to identify process improvements as well as implement analytic techniques to improve data quality. · Solid understanding of statistics and statistical methods. · Proficiency in querying data using SQL. · Proficiency in handling and manipulating data in Excel. · Proficiency in developing data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI (preferred) or Tableau to provide business intelligence, key indicators, and monitor issues. · Proficiency in wrangling data and performing analytics using Python or R. · Experience working with databases and/or data warehouses and/or data marts and/or data lakes. · Experience working with unstructured data. · Ability to work independently and lead analytics teams and mentor junior staff. · Ability to work collaboratively with clients and other contractors and coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders. · Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences. Preferred: · M.S. or M.A. in a relevant quantitative and computational discipline. · Experience developing machine learning models using Python or R. · Familiarity with automation / RPA solutions including SharePoint online, Power Automate, and UiPath. · Understanding of Agile methodology and principles. Experience working in the National Security sector.
