Eldridge Parkway, Houston, TX 77079JOB DESCRIPTION:Ensure safe and on time execution of Trinidad fabrication and brownfield scope of work in line with Client expectations; Manage overall allocated project budget for portion of scope; Primary McDermott contact point for management and administration of in country subcontracts; Responsible for all in country logistics and supply chain management required by the project; Implement effective change management through McDermott MOC process; Liaise with other areas and functions (Engineering, Procurement, Hook Up) to support local operations as required; Manage MOR PMT Members in country; Develop In-country Client and Subcontractor Relationships; Manage scope of work by identification of change conditions or work outside the scope; Generate weekly progress reports for project team in Houston; Work with Client to plan for POB requirements and availability during Brownfield offshore campaigns; Attend weekly progress meetings and readiness review meetings with in-country subcontractors; Responsible for timely and accurate reporting form Subcontractor scopes of work; Ensure local content plans are executed and successful; Train and mentor Local project professionals.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the oil and gas industry (EPCI) and involvement with various projects with different aspects and phases such as bidding, engineering, fabrication, and installations. Experience must include 5 years experience in each of the following:-Management of International and in-country subcontractors-Integration of subcontractor work with various functions and departments-Experience with budgets and cost control as well as management of change orders-Reporting functions-Management and achievement of local content requirements in countries other than the US-Management of PM Teams in international situationsTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 40% International travel required.Primary Location : USA-Texas-HoustonJob : Project Engineer (ProjMgmt)Employee Status : Direct / RegularSchedule : Full-timeReq ID: 2203090McDermott is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
