To apply, please visit: https://www.vdart.com/suppliers/ Desktop Support Omaha, NE 68154 Contract Experience: 5+ Years Technical Skills – Mandatory • More than 5 years of experience in Desktop Support • Experience in User Support environments. • Experience in Windows 10 Upgrades. • Knowledge of Windows 7 through Windows 10 and the ability to install integrate and support these operating systems. • Be able to install, maintain and troubleshoot MS Office Applications. • Install VDI client software remotely or on desk of end-users. • Strong understanding of internetworking concepts; File shares, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS. • Strong knowledge of client/server computing. • Knowledge on Interconnecting computer and peripherals (e.g Monitor, Printers, Scanners). • Experience in backup and restore of user-profiles settings such as Favorites, Documents, network drives and other preferences. • Understanding of Remote Desktop Protocol. • Experience in End User Computing Projects. • Experience in working on Windows OS Upgrade projects. • Experienced in providing hand and feet support for end-user Hardware refresh projects. Technical Skills desired (Not Mandatory): • Experience in supporting users working Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: • Provide white glove support for end users who are being migrated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 virtual desktop • Assist users with any technical issues (hardware, software, connectivity, etc) • Troubleshoot VDI client software issues during migration • Troubleshoot issues using desk side, phone, and remote support. • Troubleshoot Hardware, Software and Network issues reported by end-users. • Configure and Troubleshoot Desktop Applications. • Local Coordination of Migration and end-user support. • Collaborate with other Technology Teams to resolve end-user issues. • If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors. • Create/update and escalate user tickets as needed Key Skills: Desktop Support, User Support, Windows 10, VDI Installation, Migration, Hardware, Network Issues, Troubleshoot, Windows OS Upgrade, End-User Computing Referral Program: Ask our recruiting team about how you can be a part of our referral program.
