On-Site Resident Maintenance Manager Wanted - Self Storage Facility & Uhaul Dealership
Candidates must have customer service and office experience as well as strong maintenance skills to keep the exterior and interior of the property looking and operating at its best! We want team players!
Schedule is Thursday's 10am-6pm, Friday's 10am-6pm, Saturday's 9am-3pm, Sunday's 11am-3pm, and Monday's 10am-6pm with Tuesday's and Wednesday's off.
$15 per 34 hours per week, commissions, paid holiday's, employer supplemented health insurance for the full time employee, two weeks' vacation after the first year for the full time employee. Two (2) bedroom, one (1) bath apartment, all utilities included! Free 10x10 storage unit. Apartment also includes a sun room, walk in closet, air conditioning, washer & dryer.
$400 pet deposit. Dogs only, NO CATS!
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and have your own car with insurance. Must pass background and reference check.
Must have competency in the following:
Ability to asses and evaluate issues pertaining to general building maintenance
Basic grounds maintenance
Familiarity with basic household/ garage power and manual tools and equipment
Excellent communication, organizational and coordinating abilities
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong sales skills/ability to close a sale
Ability to deal well with others
Good verbal and written communication skills
The ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks concurrently
Strong customer service orientation
Telephone, fax, photocopier
Ability to understand and clearly explain legal documents
Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally
Clean interiors and exteriors of buildings
Maintain shrubs and grass areas around site
Remove debris, moss and weeds from all areas of the grounds
Patch walls and paint
Coordinate with vendors/contractors for large maintenance projects
Get bids for large projects
Complete security rounds
Accurately execute rental agreements for storage units and Uhaul trucks
Effectively communicate with other customers, co-workers, and supervisors by phone, email & in person
Complete a variety of reports regarding tenant and maintenance concerns
Climb in and out the cabs and backs of Uhaul trucks to clean and park them (Up to 26' trucks)
Open and close large roll-up garage doors (Up to 75lbs. of pressure)
Walk for moderate periods of time to show storage units to customers or complete security checks
Participate in ongoing education provided by the company
