We are hiring for Pipe Layers ($15/hr. to $17/hr.) Heavy Equipment Operators ($18/hr. to $21/hr.) Form Carpenters and Concrete Finishers ($17/hr. to $20/hr.) Requirements for each position are listed below. Our jobs are located in and around Orleans Parish.
Heavy Equipment Operator - Requirements:
- At least 2 years of seat time experience on a dozer, large excavator, and/or front-end loader.
- The ideal candidates will be knowledgeable of clearing and grubbing; backfilling and compacting; excavating and pipe laying. Operate heavy equipment in a safe, appropriate, efficient and productive manner.
- Heavy equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, compactors, skid steers and other pieces of equipment.
- The Operator must also inspect, clean, maintain and secure all assigned equipment.
Pipe Layer Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of Heavy Civil Construction experience with grading, underground utilities, and site development.
- Duties may include pipe installation, repair, trench digging, base work, and site prep. Ability to read plans and use lasers is a plus.
Form Carpenter/Concrete Finisher Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of verifiable form carpentry/concrete finishing experience on commercial construction projects.
- Must have your own general hand tools reliable transportation.
