PADI Scuba Instructors Wanted

Dive Oahu is hiring PADI Scuba Instructors! MUST BE ON ISLAND TO APPLY AND HAVE TRANSPORTATION!

PADI Scuba Instructors are responsible for safely guiding and teaching divers of all ages with varying levels of experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide an outstanding, safe, and educational experience to divers on land and in the water from shore or boat

Explain and demonstrate proper diving techniques and equipment care

Prepare customers for a safe experience by providing thorough introductions to equipment and safety requirements

Perform equipment inspections and complete preventative maintenance projects

Monitor changing weather and ocean conditions and make appropriate decisions to ensure safety of students, staff, and other water users

Accurately document and organize class related paperwork

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Pre-employment drug test

Current TB clearance

Valid PADI OWSI or Higher Certification

Current Diving Liability Insurance

Bilingual a plus! (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin)

Must be US Citizen or have US Work Permit

Time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.

Initiative and adaptability.

Detail oriented.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to work outside in varying conditions.
