SummaryDon C. Faith Middle School is located on the Ft. Benning Army Installation at Fort Benning, Georgia.ResponsibilitiesIdentify equipment requiring repair or maintenance.Assure school support requirements are prepared, edited, and submitted to the Area Director's office for the purchase of supplies and equipment.Assure all supply transactions are recorded in an automated system and that copies of documents are file appropriately to maintain an adequate automated and hard-copy audit trail.Verify and records serial numbers upon receipt of goods, bar codes items.Assist in monitoring the school safety and security programs to ensure compliance with program requirements of DoDEA and the supporting military installation.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsWho May Apply: U.S. Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes tracking, ordering, or inventory management of supplies; utilizing automated material management systems and office software; processing work requests/orders for equipment maintenance and repair or monitoring contracts related to custodial, maintenance or repair, and managing a purchase card program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.
