Location – Open to work from home or any Anthem officePosition DescriptionOur
mission within the Program Integrity (PI) department is to ensure proper
payments are made to legitimate providers for reasonable services provided to
eligible members. Our team, within the
PI department, is called the Product and Efficiencies team which acts as a
consultant team to the PI department. We focus first on efficiencies that
include lean six sigma process improvements, and change management to transform
the business processes prior to automating, or applying technology. We focus second on Products that support the
PI team, including cutting edge technologies and capabilities, Artificial
Intelligence, Data Science, as well as best in class industry capabilities in
both technology within the Health Care domain.

Efficiencies team will identify and spearhead process and technology improvements
across the Program Integrity business areas.
An ideal candidate will have consulting experience, is a strong problem
solver, strong analytical skills, experience with significant process
innovation changes, and have IT project execution experience on a large
enterprise scale. Responsible
for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs
and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals. ResponsibilitiesPrimary
duties to include, but are not limited to: ·
May
specialize in one area of organization effectiveness (planning, project
portfolio, or culture/change) or be assigned to directly support a business
unit and ensures activities are aligned with corporate strategy.·
Provide
“assessments” of current operational states and identifies potential issues, identify
opportunities for improvements.·
Leads
efforts to identify best practices. Identifies impacted parties, business
partners, and resources required. ·
Develops
and designs processes and systems that support business needs. Designs methods for integrating functions and
processes. ·
Conducts
cost/benefit analyses. Builds support for business change throughout the
business unit. May write business cases
to support the changes requested.·
Provides
process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support
to both local and enterprise wide initiatives. Leads the project prioritization and
scheduling activities for the business unit. ·
Provides
expertise to the business areas in culture/change management activities. Provides
expertise in process planning and portfolio management activities. ·
Executes
change projects. Directs operational
efficiencies and compliance improvements.
Supports the execution of the operating plan. Requirements·
Requires
a BA/BS degree in a related field (Business, Computer Science, Operations, MIS,
Engineering)·
10 years
managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives including knowledge of
planning models and methodology, project management and change management
experience (strategic and execution); or any combination of education and
experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferences·
Master’s
degree preferred.·
Six Sigma
Black Belt preferred.·
Experience
in Product Management or with Agile teams and technology projects.·
Systems
Engineering and Design Thinking·
Operations
