Mechanic Shop Assistant (Auto 300 Garage)

BUSINESS IS GROWING && WE NEED TO ADD TO OUR TEAM!

We are currently hiring for a Mechanic Shop Assistant

Responsibilities:

- Open/Close Shop

- Assist Customers

- Perform simple mechanical repairs i.e. replace battery, bulbs, change oil, change brakes, scan check engine, Check fluid levels, water, battery, and other fluids as needed.

- Assist mechanics with lifting and maneuvering heavy parts and component

- Request parts and tools for mechanics as needed

- Clean shop floors, stalls, driveways, tools, and equipment

- Disassemble simple components and clean parts for reassembly

- Keep running numbers of shop profit & loss reports

- Provide customers estimates on work that would be done

Qualifications:

- Customer orientated

- Bilingual IS A MUST

- Have basic car repair knowledge

- Know basic tools

- Computer knowledge (plus if you know how to use ALLDATA)

- BE READY TO WORK

HOURS ARE MONDAY - SATURDAY 8A-7:30P (1 HOUR LUNCH)

WEEKLY PAY

FREE LUNCH ON SATURDAY
